Mio Gelato

The non-dairy sorbetto is delicious. I had chocolate pudding and mango and it was a perfect combination. This was a cold and rainy night and it was still busy so I would expect long lines in the summer. The gentleman working knew the ingredients in every flavour we asked about and also seemed to like what he was doing. I will definitely be back next time I visit Kingston.

First off, this place is always booming with people but the service is really quick! They have a variety of different flavours. Very rich and creamy. I prefer gelato over ice cream and time and time again I'm reminded why. This was the real thing! Choose whatever flavour you like, I'm sure all of them taste great! I'm saying this after only trying 3 flavours: mango, chocolate orange and Mio mix but the quality speaks for itself.

Absolutely delicious. Loads of flavours to choose from, and we all loved the ones we picked.

We love going to Mio Gelato. It's so fun to find different flavours Everytime. My favorite is the pineapple. I wish it was a bigger, since they only have two benches outside. But if it's a good sunny day, you can walk to the lake

Classic gelato! 2 options large or small, small 2 flavors, large 3 flavors. Lots of fun flavors to choose from, highly recommend the cinnamon one. They give samples with reusable silverware instead of disposable which is very good for the environment.

Every single day of my vacation I got gelatto. And the last day I got 5 pints, can’t miss the unique flavor of my favorite flavor amaretto, mojito and decadent dark chocolate.Best gelato in town!!!

I got 3 scoops: 2 chocolate and 1 strawberry. All of them were divine. The only real problem I can imagine you'll run into at this restaurant is being overwhelmed with the multitude of flavours they offer.

This is a super cool place with nice and friendly staff. The options are way too much so it gets a bit difficult to decide. My recommendation for the staff would be to welcome visitors to do the taste test. You can, of course, do it but you have to ask which creates a bit of awkwardness. Nevertheless, I found the gelato with just the right amount of sugar!!

Ice cream is better than average but price is much higher than average. Also expect to stand in looong lineups. Overall not worth the price.

Amazing gelato, it is really creamy and tasty.I liked the chocolate salt ice cream and the pistachio one.I also tried chocolate mint, but it was disappointing because it doesn't taste mint at all

I love the selection. I'm a fruit sherbet person and Mio Gelato gets those right.The line can look long, but they are efficient at serving.

Love their ice cream. Skor bar crunch is the best. They have lots of flavour and even have dairy free options. If you need sorbet or gelato check this place out.

Among all the amazing flavours, don't miss to try the traditional ones (mango, coconut, strawberry, pistachio). Service is very very friendly, all flavours I tried were really good and the location is right across the street from the lakeshore. Definitely coming back whenever I'm in Kingston.

Gelato is great. They would not give us a cup of tap water so we were forced to buy over priced bottled water. I am never happy about paying for water but especially in an ice cream shop.

Special flavours every month - everything is made themselves and you can taste it! The gelatos and sorbettos are divine - the tastes are intense.I tried half a dozen flavours before settling on a bowl of two kinds - Chocolate Pudding and Raspberry - OMG! - the combination was like a rich, dark chocolate cake with a true berry filling. The contrast of the two were perfect, although I can't wait to mix and match a new pair next time!I highly recommend stopping at Mio Gelato! You'll be happy you did!

Gelato is so good. You can taste as many flavors as you like. There is something for everyone and all is made in store. Be prepared to have trouble choosing

Attentive service. Many choices. Green tea ice cream - please add some more green tea. The flavor was very weak:(. Pistachio was great.

It was good. Chocolate flavour was ok, cheesecake was yummy.

The pistachio and hazelnut flavors are my go to combo though they always have rad monthly flavors too (like turmeric latte!)

This has been my 3rd visit in 8 days. The service is excellent, and the staff helpful, and friendly. They have a large variety of flavours, and everything is made fresh daily. On my first visit, the owner offered me a sample of the raspberry gelato, and it was delicious. The owner was very friendly. I ended up having a matcha green and vanilla gelato, in a cup - delicious! In a small cup you can have 2 different flavours, and a large cup - 3 different flavours. They make their own waffle cones. I am from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and I am going to have to check out if there is a Mio Gelato there. ENJOY!!☺

Best frozen treat in Kingston! Highly recommend any of their chocolate-based flavours, chocolate-orange is a personal favourite. A small size allows you to get two flavours. Some of the vanilla-based seasonal flavours I have found to be slightly bland. Seating is limited so head to the Confederation park to enjoy your gelato with a view of the marina!

Wonderful gelato and amazing service by the staff! It was kinda busy, though I visited on a Friday night so it wasn't unexpected. Just be mindful of time and day when you plan to drop by. I'd recommend the nutella/cookie dough/cinnamon donut combo - the cinnamon donut is a limited edition flavour for fall, though, so get some quick.

I would give it 4 stars if not for the one staff member who was clearly not happy to serve us. Perhaps she was having a bad day..The flavour samples we tried were almost all delicious, and the flavours we ended up buying were definitely yummy. Unfortunately I didn’t feel we got much for our money, I would have thought they’d pile it up for $8+ (that’s the other missing star).We will probably try again though, as it was delicious and we are in the area often.

Great ice cream. Even with lineups going out the door they are very well equipped to serve everyone within a reasonable amount of time. I love their hazelnut flavor as well as the cappuccino.

Hands down the best ice-cream/gelato in town. With so many flavours options you will find what you love. Don't be afraid from the long line, it moves really quickly. By the time you decide on the flavour, you will be ready to order. It is centrally located in the heart of downtown. There is no street parking in front of it but you can find a spot nearby.

You'd be hard pressed to find a greater selection of gelato. Very flavorful as well. We had to line up outside however the place was well staffed and the line moved fast. Very popular and highly recommended.

This gelato place holds a special place in the hearts of many queens university students and visitors alike, hot spot and the unanimous best gelato place in a 40 mile radius. Huge selection of flavors, very friendly staff, outdoor and limited indoor seating, and it's open till the late hours of the night! An absolute must visit if you're coming to Kingston!

Amazing vegan options! I had the mango and passion fruit and it was sooo good. They had about 5 vegan options and I will be working my way through them all.Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans alike.

I ordered the large size of ice cream which includes three flavors! There are tons of different flavors to choose, and there’s also “the flavour of the week”. I had the cinnamon latte absolutely delicious ~~
